Truthfully I have not been reading a lot lately. It's been hard to find something I want to sink my teeth into. However, I got this book on Tuesday and it's now Saturday and I'm finished.I did watch most of the television show (I stopped a bit into season 2) and I really enjoyed it. However, to be honest I think I liked the books better. There are quite a few differences between the book and the show but the books tell a better story. I love that we switch between perspectives of Joanna, Ingrid and Freya. The stories of each woman is different but they all tie together. It was a well written story and I enjoyed it very much.My only complaint is that i don't like books that can't stand on their own. This book is not one that can be read and the story ends. There is such a cliff hanger that one must simply move on to the next book, which is good and bad. But I was hoping to put this one down and try something else. That's not going to happen! Onto the second book. I enjoyed this book. The one thing that could have helped it a bit is flowing a bit better between chapters. Sometimes it felt choppy and I wasn't sure what was going on. The story line was interesting and entertaining though, especially at the end when various things come to light that we didn't know in the beginning. I'm looking forward to the 2nd book and rather sad that the show has been canceled.
even though this is different then the t.v series. i still loved it
