Well, That was a quick read. Yes, a horrible lot of torture at the start, but no worse than Game of Thrones. 80% of the accompanying illustrations are gorgeous, 10 % are stunningly erotic, and the final 10% are just plain sick! The actual story was left on a cliff hanger, we really never did find out much about the Wizard and his true intentions, but he and Ferris were very hot!..i want more, sick puppy that I am! 3.5 starsNot many people are going to like this one (though I did). It's m-m and it's beginning is pretty heavy in some hard core torture fetish scenes. This isn't the worst from the author so I barely batted an eye (more like squinted very tightly ;D). The dark hero (color, not disposition) is at war and gets capture and tortured, among other things. He's accidentally rescued by a wizard(who plays a major role in the novel Bloodraven), they have an affair, and the wizard has the warrior do all kinds of stuff for him. It was pretty good. I was not surprised by the ending since this is sort of a prequel and I knew where the wizard ended up. But in general, if you're a fan of P.L. Nunn, you'll like this one.
What do You think about Wizard (2011)?
