At first I found it hard to get into this book, with all the dialogue, however once I started to get a feel for the characters I began to love it. I really liked Malick and his obsession with Fen, it's what kept me reading. I can't wait to read book two, however it's currently not available as a new version is in the works. I wish I'd checked first! Now I'll have to wait for ages to know what happens! It's quite nice in this genre. The fantasy world has been handled with some level of planning and depth. The character building is also good, and in my opinion is a strong point of the book.Actually, i've been wanting to read something in the lgbt magic fantasy genre for quite some time; after discovering the The Last Herald Mage series by Mercedes lackey, and then Sarah Monette (Labyrinth series), Lynn Flewelling (Nightrunner series)... So my positive readings may be coloured by my desire to read something of this genre. But, if you already love this genre, then by all means give it a go!
What do You think about Wolf's-own: Ghost (2014)?
i tried to finish this but it was just too much of everything.
