I just finished this book and enjoyed every minute of it. Henderson obviously knows the geography of Yellowstone well and appreciates its great beauty. I don't typically read time travel, but I thought the author did a remarkable job of making it believable and taking us back to the wilderness of the early 1800's. The story was intriguing and the characters well portrayed. This was just a fun read and I definitely plan to read the others in the series. Great job Peggy! The descriptions of Yellowstone made me mentally return to my visit there when I was a teenager, and they rekindled the desire to go there again. The author vacationed in Yellowstone many summers and clearly knows the area well. All the characters were realistic and not stereotyped; no characters appeared to be only placeholders to move the plot along.I cared about Daniel and Aimee right from the start. Both are headstrong, but willing to learn from each other. Their chemistry is obvious, especially in the love scenes which leave little to the imagination. I was surprised by the extent of details in those scenes, but I shouldn't have been considering the cover photo showing in amazon. My bad! You will have to suspend reality a little since it's a time travel story, and some minor questions in my mind were unanswered. Telling them here would be spoilers so I won't. Even though not every little thing was wrapped up in my mind, I enjoyed this escape novel and my mental trip to Yellowstone in the early 1800's.
What do You think about Yellowstone Heart Song (2000)?
Excellent! Well written and captivating. Time Travel and romance with a little twist.
