I cried, I laughed, I got mad! This book had me sobbing. I mean ugly hiccuping crying! .And when Brooke got mad at the Twins I felt her anger. I was Brooke and yes I fell in love with Rex. I felt it all. Ladies this book is deeply emotional and enlightening. Defining who we are and who we love is hard but when you admit it to yourself... it is beautiful. Yes to Everything is about realizing what we are made of. The journey to happiness is hard. Shane McClendon has given us a gift, embrace it! Okay, this book was so overwhelming, I am not sure how to even do it justice. I don't have the words. I am going to just simply bullet point some of the things that made this one of the best books I have ever read in my life and hope it gets the point across.-Brooke (main) is my favorite written female of all time. She is the woman I think most of us would want to be in every way.-Her supporting cast of female fiends are the bomb. I want them.-No one in this book is weak, unrealistic or somebody you want to slap upside the head (other than for a certain issue but that's okay because it gets resolved well)-The portrayal of love (sibling, lover, friend) is aweing. I have never heard of it described better.-Holy cow, I laughed. A lot.-I smiled. A lot.-Finally, I cried. A lot. Heart wrenching, need a tissue, body shaking sobs. This a book you cannot stop reading until you are done. I would have gone feral on anyone who tried to take me away from it. The ending was just as deliciously rewarding as the journey and I walked away with a truly unbelievable literary experience. So that's my review. Shayne - I don't have your words but man you have my admiration.
