The Tarzana crochet group are waitng for a book launch and the announcement of the real author. But there is a missing person - Molly's neighbor who had an investment club. There is also William writer of children's books hanging at the book store-where Adele is his girlfriend. Molly searches for her neighbor who may have committed suicide because of mishandling funds. Molly and Dinah (her bff) go investigating to the dismay of her suitors Barry and Mason. My first book in this series - fun and left me wondering to the end who was the murderer and the author. Molly Pink just happens to fall into yet another suspicious death. This story-line is very comfortable to read - with all the characters acting out predictably yet enough story to wonder "what's going to happen next?" I liked the extra drama of the financial scam, the mystery-author reveal and Molly's relationship dilemma. Plus I LOVE the crochet patterns at the end! I cannot wait to make the Simple Snowflake and the Vampire Scarf. On to the next installment of "A Crochet Mystery". Thanks Betty Hechtman!
Some of the characters are really hard to take in this series, but I love the mystery! A fun read.
