The story made me feel like I was back then in old California, this was how Diego and the rest probably (if they were real) lived. Every thing from cattle ranching to how the tribe in that area lived. How Diego learn to dance, how he start getting interested in using a whip.tThis is a story before Zorro was Zorro and how the incident with someone taken their cattle and kidnapping skill trades men, to make a new kingdom probably started him to fulfill the role of Zorro.tHalf way though the book they get a clue on who might be doing this crime (not that they were investigating it quite yet, just more minding their own business tell this point), then things start getting going, were everyone in the end lending a helping hand.
