Darren Shan is an alright author. This book is okay for the first 50 pages. This novel is the definition on the well i don't know, i just know that now in days i hate reading i look up stuff on the internet for the book. The main character is horrible i knew from the start i hated the bookI have no favorite part of this novel, in my opinion this book is horrible book. i think you would be better of picking something else Xavier Swain Becky has escaped the underground military complex and wanders the big city of London alone, moving during the day to avoid the sun-fearing zombies. She dons hat and shades and ambles around like Charlton Heston on the Omega Man, with exposed chest and a smirk on her face. (Of course, she bares her breast to show off her missing heart, so the truly brainless zombies don't get her.) Becky encounters lots of weird characters in this book, and you can guarantee almost all of them end of dead in some gruesome way or other. Mr. Dowling is back, of course, and the mysterious Owl Eyes. Can't wait to read the next book.
