A nice easy read. 3.5 stars. It took me about a dozen chapters to really get engrossed in the Story. I kept reading bc the book got really good reviews on amazon and it did indeed get a lot better. The plot is pretty predictable from the getgo but the book is still well written and the characters are very likable. I loved The idea of female friendship and empowerment but the men in the story barely had any personality. They were walking cliches. The Canadian singer sounded more American than Canadian with the cowboy hat and boots and the vampire character! The story did not need that bit at all and I found it a bit silly. The Rachel story did not get as much attention as the other stories & I felt that it was just pasted there And did not add anything to the plot. The audio version of the book is pretty entertaining if you want something to keep you preoccupied while you do other things. I loved this! Once I'd got used to who everyone was, I was hooked on this book. Thoroughly enjoyed it, I loved the characters - the group of women all are lovely, and I really wanted them all to be happy. I loved the mysterious Vladimir Darq character too! I could so clearly imagine the Crooke family, which made me chuckle.I love Milly Johnson's books, they are always so well written, with believable and real characters who you easily warm to. Her books always make me feel light-hearted after reading, and this book was no different :) I definitely recommend this book, and Milly's other books.
What do You think about Zomervlinders (2010)?
Chick lit. Previsible, pero muy mono. Se lee en dos tardes y te pone de buen humor.

Neh, kinda boring typical rom-com book. Very predictable but well written.
