By far the best book I have read in the series. Lee Child does not disappoint with this awesome Jack Reacher novel. It is so riveting and intense it keeps you on edge until you finish the last page. Afterwards, you find yourself craving more. This story is so suspenseful you cannot stop. It does find yourself sad because you form a bond with a few characters but they end up dying. Either way it's an amazing book an easy 5 stars. Jack Reacher is back. The countdown has begun. Get ready for the most exciting 61 hours of your life. #1 New York Times bestselling author Lee Child’s latest thriller is a ticking time bomb of suspense that builds electric tension on every page.Sixty-one hours. The secrets are deadlier and his enemies are stronger than he could have guessed—but so is the woman whose life he’ll risk his own to save.
The Reacher series enjoys a certain reputation and I now understand why. I believe I read some of Child's work before, but just happened to pick this up as it was sitting around my house. I particularly admire the way the story is structured. There is a lot of foundation in this work. I could tell I was reading about well-developed characters and a story will a well-crafted plot.Overall, it was a nice break in my normal reading and I enjoyed it.

Cold, bitter cold. It’s constant in this story. I suspected the bad guy early on. Regretted the murders of the only other characters we got to know. But the ending is the kicker – there’s just no way that Reacher survived an explosion that destroyed an airliner, melted the snow in a 2-mile radius, and had the U.S. and Russia both worried it was a missile strike on their satellite views. (And yet, the series goes on….)
