It’s fifteen degrees cooler there.” “Shade?” Carlos took in the endless night. “I don’t see any shade.” “Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it ain’t there. Scoot your butts around the corner. You’ll see.” They did, and both immediately felt the welcome relief of cool black shade on their burning skin.
