WOW! What a story! And it's all true! This young man went through SO much as a child, rejected by his parents, put into 2 terrible foster homes, and still he came through it with a faith in God and hope that he could find a home and a family someday.I cried through parts of it and stopped to pray for Steve and all the people who helped him throughout his life. I highly recommend this book! A Chance In The World is an amazing read! This story tells all about a mans journey through his childhood, teen life and journey into adult life. Pemberton had so many struggles in his life, that caused him to become the man he is today. He went through numerous adoptive families, but stayed the longest in a certain home. This home was by far, the most unhappiest place Pemberton had ever stayed at. It caused him a great deal of pain, fury, and fear. Pemberton's story is inspiring, and demonstrates how hard work and determination can get you miles in life. He never gave up and worked as hard as he possibly could to reach his goals. Pemberton had no one to call family for a long time, but remained true to himself. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to be wowed, inspired, and maybe even shed a tear or two.
