A Field Guide For Heartbreakers (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
Not as good as I expected. The writing was very confusing, to the point where I had no idea what was going on in some parts. I hated Veronica, and I found her and Dessy's friendship somewhat one-sided. Also, the whole "Corky is a psycho killer" thing very random. I have no idea why the author chose to include that. I don't feel like it served a purpose, it was just weird. The only reason I finished the book is because I was curious about how Dessy and Hamilton's relationship would pan out. I wanted to stop reading after chapter 2. I would not recommend this to anyone. I was really excited to read this one, I mean the title is good, so is the cover and the synopsis shows promise. But.. but I was left devastated when all that expectations was crushed. I mean the characters are just so frustratingly annoying to read. Especially that Veronica girl. Instead of loving them while reading the book, i did the exact opposite. With every chapter, my annoyance to the characters just reached a new level of annoyance.

Not a serious novel by any means...it's totally crazy and fun. A nice summer read.
