2.75 starsI've read good reviews about this book, and that it's as good as the first book or even much better! So right after reading the first book, I didn't hesitate to read it. I do like the plot, a lot, but the story was... okay. It wasn't exciting and it's not really that interesting. I didn't feel that attached to the characters, I didn't love them though I do like the kid. I kind of like Bronwyn's situation, she's fragile, she worked her ass of to feed and clothe her child, coz hello! I like stuff like this! it's just something's missing. The story was good but it wasn't satisfying. I wanted to drop it around 50% but I didn't, then again on 70% but I was like, heck I'll just finish it and maybe I'll love if after..but I didn't. :( Anyways, I'm going to read book 3, hopefully it's better than this one. This is the kind of book that you read when you had dental surgery and you just need some froth. Which is what I did. But all the painkillers in the world could not sway my opinion from: This. Is. Dumb. At least her other two were entertaining, this book just flat out did not make any sense and the big reveal was ridiculous. If you just want some mindless entertainment, by all means. But I would not pay any money for it.
