I love this author. Characters you felt for and a good mystery. I liked that the characters had issues but seemed to work through them in a healthy way. I've read the book about Serena, who is mentioned in this book, but didn't feel like it was necessary to follow this story. The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because I figured out the killer early on. Only because I have a weird fetish to be right at the end of a story, but a great read! Will definitely look for more by her! Maybe one on Brian? Great suspense!!! Thriller even.. Whats really interesting is that even the sickest people wish to have a perfect life. But what hit me more is that it is the children that are abused in their innocence end up all messed up, this in a way justifies their actions-- not that i support whafthey do but i feel somewhat sorry for them. After all it is those chilhood years that define who we will become in life--it is important to have good influence in those years.. I love how Kit delt with it and managed to calm them into submission.
I like this book a lot had just right amount of suspense and romance.
