Genre: informational bookCopyright:2012This is a book which tells the representations of different means when people have different actions, such as "a smile means I'm happy" or "a hug means I care". Each sentence accompanies with a real picture which shows the action. It is a very good book for teaching children about the relationships between human actions and the meanings behind the actions. There is no difficult content, just simply introduces the actions and meanings. Definitely a favorite! My daughter loves to tell me if the people are happy or sad or sleepy or mad. She especially likes the boy who says "Shh, that's a little too loud" and we say that at home when my daughter gets noisy (she does not have a small voice). I love that there are photographs of real people instead of drawings - I think that helps make the expressions more understandable for little ones.
Actually quite cute and the kids loved hearing it at the program.
