4.25 I really liked this book. It flowed more easily for me than the 1st in the series. I really liked the characters and the story line. It left me wanting to read more.I wanted to hear more about May. Also, I did expect more to come of the interaction with Cynthia's father. I don't think he would have given up so easily. I also wanted to see the bakery start up used more.e-borrowed from M Cynthia is going to her friend, Anna's wedding to Max, even though Cynthia's father doesn't want her to go since Max was once her fiance'. He disowns her, but she isn't really concerned she has her own money. She gets drunk at the wedding and finds herself wanting a one night stand with Chris Dupree, Max's freind from New Orleans. Her family would have a fit since Chris is black but she can't resist. He gives he the night of her life once he realizes she likes being a sub. They go their separate ways but Cyn decides to follow him to Hawaii and see where things go. It heats up fast.I love this series!
I loved this book, but I felt like the story ended unresolved. What happened to Cynthia's dad?
