Wow! This book was just as good as the first, if not better than it. The main character is a father, husband, and Savior. I've loved his real thoughts as a dad, as well as his thoughts about humanity and his soul. For a guy, he really hit the nail on the head on his thoughts about survival and good and evil. I loved all of the commentary in his head. His little quirks were endearing and hilarious. There was also quite a bit of drama that always left me on the edge of my seat following the 1st book this one is too funny I'm constantly laughing and getting strange looks from my family. although I kind of didn't like (the vampire Eliza turn of events I think zombies was enough without having a vamp in the midst but it went along with everything happening in this book and the following book) very good book had a few parts where I skimmed because it seemed dragged out but would definitely read the entire series
Another good one from Mark. I liked all the Boston and New England references.
