Been eagerly awaiting with great anticipation for the continuation of Zombie Fallout series and it was well worth the wait. Mark Tufo has continued to enthrall with his unique style of writing. In the continuing adventures(or misadventures)of Michael Talbot, he once again has taken us through every emotion conceivable. If you are a fan of the ZF series or just a fan of the writer, you will know this is the normal state for the reader. I was laughing out loud within the first 5-6 pages. Then I was reminded of what has kept me coming back and why Michael Talbot is a much loved character. Those smart ass remarks get you every time and this time BT takes center stage with him. And although Eliza is gone, the Zombies are not. They are still around and (Spoiler)becoming more resourceful. Family and friends are together again as they leave Maine and Ron's(Michael's brother)house in an attempt to find a cure for BT and his son Justin. There were major questions that were answered but just as many were left unanswered as he crosses paths with past friends and new enemies. Mark Tufo has once again left me at the edge of my seat wanting more! The world is coming to an end and this series keeps turning out twists and turns. Not only is the family back together with their extended family, we get to witness one of the biggest fights with a horde. it turns out Vivian has a bigger role in what happened then you could ever have imagined. Mark started this as a trilogy and now we're all waiting anxiously for the next book to find out if everyone can be saved.
It is what it is. Michael Talbot and co, zombies and road trips. The formula works for me
