This is book 3 in the Wicca-Were-Bear series. This is the story of Daeton and her two mates. One is a centaur, names Pers and the other is a Leoneman , named Ekho. She is hunted by an evil wizard. She is headed to the castle where the prince of the realm will protect her. She meets so many Were's along the way. She saves two slave girls who are gifted to her. And ultimately saves the whole kingdom. A good continuation of the series. This is of purse Ash and Axe's little Were-Bear sister. I really liked the first two books in this series and decides to try this one. It was ok but not great. I think the real problem with this book it that the author spent so much time in the first half being overly descriptive about walking, walking and more walking and about how much her feet hurt that the last half of the book felt rushed. I could not get a sense of the characters especially the male characters. They felt shallow and had no development which is a shame because I felt with some work and more time they could have been wonderful. If this had been a full length book the start might not have been so bad because there would have been more time to flesh out the story but as is it does not work.
I thought that Daeton's was going to be different. Wasn't what I was expecting at all.

Better, but hoped for a better ending. Longer book would of been better.
