A light romance which connects the Inn at Angel Island with members of the community of Cape Light. Jonathan is researching the legend of Angel Island for his doctorate and meets Tess - a waitress/history major/docent at the local historical society. Their story is complemented by the story of Adele Morgan who also has come to the Inn at Angel Island. Her purpose is to reunite her sons before she dies. The main characters from the Cape Light books all make an appearance here since Adele's grandchildren are Sam Morgan and Molly Willoughby. Readers of the series will enjoy this book. Another good Christmas story from Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer. Adele Morgan, almost 90, has loaded herself into her car for the drive from Vermont to Cape Light. She feels the extreme need to bring her estranged sons back together before she dies and wants to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren once again. Once in Cape Light she finds that explaining the past and asking forgiveness are even tougher than she thought they would be. But, Christmas Miracles do happen and perhaps there is a chance. Also, visiting Cape Light is grad student Jonathan Butler. He has come to debunk the claims that angels came to the island 200 years earlier to save a group of deathly ill people. What he finds is more than he bargained for when he meets Tess Wyler who also has an interest in the history of the area. Jonathan finds angels his mind for many reasons.Sadly, we have lost The Painter of Light, I wonder if Katherine Spencer will continue this series as the characters are always interesting and mostly lovable.
What do You think about A Season Of Angels (2012)?
I've enjoyed Thomas Kinkade books so far. This one dwelt with family drama and reconciliation.
