I would round up to 3.5 stars on this as it was such an unusual story and the development of the characters were written well. It was a bit slow in the middle but really finished out nicely, hence the rounding up. The steam was good, I empathized with the characters and the paranormal was well thought out and believable. When the sequel comes out I would actually read it and I rarely want to read sequels or more. the first love scene is so beautiful, so full of tenderness and caring and budding love that i fell in love with the story from then on. the love story is beautiful, the characters are absolutely lovable. cam is so shy and pure not because he's a virgin or because he hasnt ever done anything bad, he has, hurt ppl killed ppl, but because he loves so deeply and cares so much. and sees his own faults. and dylan is so strong and proud! but not too proud to be loving and there for the ppl in his life for the ppl he encounters. even when he didnt know cam, he was loving and kind insteed of giving in to his darker past he stands strong to his ideals. this story really deserves the 5 stars not because it was so complicatedly perfect in the details but because its a work of art its perfect in its simple beauty :) lol i almost cried
