I loved what Sephani Hecht has done with the Lost Shifters series. Each couple is my own secret little escape from reality and into a fantastic fantasy world with beautiful boys. A Shifter Christmas was really special because Hecht didn’t introduce a new couple, but rather made it mostly about Noah and Seth, with Noah’s littermates Andrew and Keegan as a major part of the story. It’s Christmas and Keegan, Andrew and Noah are at the mall shopping for Christmas gifts when a flock of Raven shifters ambush them demanding Noah back for their perverted twisted leader. Not only that but all hell breaks loose when Andrew finds out what his alpha and older brother has his ‘brother’ Shane doing as a pack job. Emotions are super charged and sometimes happy endings don’t come true, even for Christmas. Each of Hecht’s characters is unique and has their own problems and personalities, mine by far is Shane and wow, what happens to him in the pantry… Needless to say I cannot wait for his story, which is next. This installment was a novella, a sort of taste for all of her readers and fans who can’t wait for the next installment to come. These are all easy to read stories, and while they can be read alone, they are so much better read in order. You can really see Hecht’s writing progressing with each story. She’s topped herself with her last three books about Andrew, Owen and now this one. Shane’s story is going to be fantastic. A warning though, Hecht likes all her pretty boys on the bottom and no holding back, so be prepared when you pick up one of her books that you’re going to get a whole lot of action, of all kinds. Enjoy!Bitten by Books for ARe Cafe This story gave me a look into how Noah, Keegan and Andrew have adjusted to being reunited with their family. It focuses mainly on Noah's pov. It was interesting to see all the couples from previous books together as one big family. The scene between Cassie and Chris was interesting and I'm hoping more of their story will be told in the background of future books. There is also what I believe to be foreshadowing for Shane's story.
What do You think about A Shifter Christmas (2010)?
This was a good Christamas read, I got a little teary eyed on some parts. Wished it was longer.
