This book was so bad! I hate when a story starts at the 3/4 mark and then just gives us limited back-story.I have trouble connecting to the characters. Why wouldn't you rather read about 'the meeting','the persuit',& 'the catch'? Why should I feel any connection to characters when I didn't get to be drawn into their relationship as it happened? I can't even remember names of some of the characters today & I just read this yesterday. It was predictable and the had too many sex scenes.I don't need all the sex details each & everytime they 'do it'.Sometimes having a little bit of storyline helps keep our intrest. After all of the running away & not talking out their problems she is still keeping secrets because she is "afraid of his reaction" in the last chapter. Will they ever learn? At this point I didn't get to know them enough to care. I’ve avoided this one for the simple fact it was released as a serial. I hate serials. I will never understand the logic behind releasing a book chapter by chapter and making readers wait between releases, especially when you’re dealing with avid readers. I love to read. I read almost a full novel every day (when I have the time), so to wait for months to get to a new chapter is just silly. It takes more than a few chapters to capture a reader and make them fall in love with your characters. If I stop and read forty or fifty books between the chapter releases of a serial, I no longer have interest in the story. The only reason I even gave this novel a chance is because it was completed and released as a single book on an audiobook site I subscribe to. Overall, I enjoyed it. I can’t say much about the characters, there wasn’t anything that set them apart for me. For me, this was just a light, easy read that killed a few hours.
