A Vampire for ChristmasThis anthology features four sizzling vampire tales that will engage any reader. The common theme of Christmas and vampires is sure to delight paranormal romance fans. My favorite story was Enchanted by Blood by Laurie London. Her short story was a companion piece to her books about the guardian vampires who police the renegades. I also really enjoyed reading All I Want for Christmas by Alexis Morgan. Her vampire world was unique and very down to earth. The characters were relatable and sizzled with mystery and chemistry. If you are a fan of vampire stories, this anthology is for you. With four different and unique stories, you will be sure to find one to your liking. Four stories in one book. The first story is about a vampire male who falls in love with a human female but he can't get involved with her because of family responsibilities. Okay the Christmassy theme is because he's met and erased her memory one Christmas and now the following Christmas he's once again become involved with her. Why and what happens is the tale. The second story is about a male vampire who gets some help from a human female when he's attacked by three werewolves. Apparently she's very accepting of the fact that he's a vampire. The setting is at Christmas time and she a popular singer who he sees singing some Christmas songs. And so the story goes. The third story is about a male vampire and his guardian angel (???) and her trying to save him and him trying to keep her alive. Seems to be that the third time is supposed to be the charm; she's failed twice before and doesn't know what will happen if she fails this time. Therein lies the tale. The setting for the last attempt is at Christmas time. Therein lies the tale. The fourth story is about a vampire detective who while staking out an area for a case becomes involved with a human female who is also accepting of him as a vampire. She runs a diner and is generous with her patrons and employees. They become involved and she becomes involved in the case. And so the story goes. Okay so vampires and Christmas may not really be my thing but of all the stories I enjoyed the last on the best. There is truly a Christmas spirit displayed in the story.
