another amazing book by Joey W. Hill, Lady Daniela and Devlin are an amazing couple, she's strong and determined but sweet and tender with him, and Dev is fierce and courageous but has a weak spot for her. They need to understand each other and learn to accept their ups and downsI love to read about a strong female character and even when she is falling in love and struggled to keep her dominant side she is a feared vampire and a good masterDev is strong and hard headed but he's got good intentions and even when he surrender to Lady Dany's will, he remains strong and confidentI love this couple so much and this book is good and very explicit of their relationship, the beautiful setting of Australia, about loving someone and learn to accepting everything good or bad and standing by her side forever I did enjoy this book. It was a little hard for me to get into it at first. But, I think a big part of that was that I was sick and just could not focus on the story very well. Once I started feeling better, I enjoyed the story much more. At first, I didn't care for Danny, but really enjoyed Devlin. You really see Danny grow up in this story. You also get to see Dev come to terms with many things in his life and the past that has haunted him. I also greatly enjoyed reading a story that takes place in Australia. It is the first story I have read that takes place there. It is one of my fantasy vacation spots, so it made me want to go even more.

50 pages in and I'm still bored-not much there that draws me in to either character.

The bet parts were when Danny kills Ian and later Lord Charles.
