Agenda 21 (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

A very interesting fictional story describing the worst case scenerio of the agenda 21 proposal that is occurring world wide and gaining in popularity. It's pretty scary, and I know I'd never want our future to be anything like what was described in this novel. Yes, we has humans need to do a better job taking care of earth and its resources, but these objectives would be extreme.....great, easy read, a page turner for sure. Liked the characters and the pass, however I do agree, it's ended a bit too abruptly. I've previously read "Overton Window" by Glenn Beck and was pleasantly surprised. I like Beck but am not necessarily a "fanatic" of his show.Agenda 21 is based on a true United Nations Agenda resolution number 21 and is set in the future life of America after the agenda has been functional for many years. It's well written and clear. I enjoyed the characters and found myself thinking about what was going to happen next; so much so that it was difficult to put down. The book is somewhat a cross of Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" and Orwell's "1984" in it's futuristic views; government intervention, over-reaching rules and structure, the common good over the individual.I recommend this book. As it's endorsed by Glenn Beck but not written by him, even people who don't *like* Beck should find it interesting and a good read.

What do You think about Agenda 21 (2012)?

I thought this novel was written and put together very well. The story really kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what they were gonna do next. I couldn't put it down and read it very fast. the only negative I have is that the story built up very subtlety and then ended. I don't wanna ruin it for those who haven't read it. just know it's based on actual doctrine written in the real agenda 21. in an extreme case scenario.

I expected more. After having read 1984, a book written some 70 years ago, Agenda 21 is sophomoric and predictable. Of course, it's very plausible in its view of a totalitarian future ruled by the green gestapo.Agenda 21 policiesare a very real threat to the liberties that we take for granted.Everyone who is concerned about their children's and children's children's future, should read this book.

Kind of a... The Giver meets Hunger Games meets Brave New World.....very thought provoking.
