I picked up the first book in this series because Amazon recommended it at the end of the Darynda Jones "Charley Davidson" series, which I just reread (and love). I completely understand the recommendation and after reading, and really enjoying the first book, I downloaded the rest of the series. Rylee Adamson is strong and tough, but has a soft underbelly and a strong sense of right and wrong. And she has a good sense of humor - which always helps. If you like Kim Harrison's Hallows series, this is very similar and you will enjoy it. Give it a read! Alex! It's a background story of Alex... Sort of. It's the 24 hrs when he became a submissive wolf but not really his life before that. So sad! Although I'm excited to see his future. The great wolf spirit said something here that gives us hope for the poor Alex. Oh! Thank you for the drawing at the end. Now I have a visual. :) in my head his snout was longer and he was a lot scarier in my head. I can imagine how lovable his is after seeing the picture. :)
