This is book 1 of Alien Mates . This was a story of a girl from Earth, Diana, who was kidnapped. Her kidnapper and new" leader" , Korea was her supposed mate. This was decked by an alien oracle. Well what self respecting Earth girl stand back and says " yes master " to an alien stranger? Oh yeah, this gets dicey and more dicey. So may emotions come through in this short story. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series. I think this was one of her earlier writings because her other series was more well written. But this is a good start. The first half of the book = 2 stars. It got better after the halfway point. ** Warning Spoilers **Diana is a non-skinny girl on earth who's not happy with her life. Recently broke up with a jerk who didn't want to be seen with a fat chick out in public, not so crazy about her job.Suddenly a hunky blue guy (Kor) appears in her living room telling her he is HER leader and will be her mate. Cocky, arrogant and throwing commands left and right. Diana didn't like that and mouthed off to him, so he knocked her out with some kind of drug. She wakes up naked on his ship.She finds out she doesn't get to wear any clothing except some veils, has to do what he says, has no choice in her life anymore. She was forced/bullied to take some shots including some hormone therapy to turn her into a baby-making machine.Kor is taking her to his world and doesn't really care what she wants. He has been told by the Oracle that she is his mate and there is no changing her fate in his mind.Even worse, his mother keeps calling him nagging about why he hasn't bonded with her yet.The annoying part to me was Diana capitulates to Kor's plan so fast "because he's so handsome and kisses so well!". Kor takes Diana to a planet for a picnic trying for a "date" and like an idiot, looses track of her. She gets kidnapped by space pirates.Kor gets her back and kills space pirates. Diana is so happy Kor rescues her, she bonds with him and they begin making (boring) nasty everywhere in the ship on the way back to his home.Once they reach his home, Diana meets Kor's mother and finds out Kor's mother is human also. Which Kor never bothered to mention. And she's blue...which Diana will be eventually.It's marital bliss until she meets Kor's brother Kil who is green and a little cray-cray in the head.Kil tries to kill Kor via a cave-in. Diana is freaking because she loves Kor. She stomps into the Oracle and speaks her mind about why would you do this to me!!! Gets reassured Kor is alive, then proceeds to complain about how there has to be a better way than abducting human women. Oracle agrees.Kil kidnaps Diana to one of their moons. Kor rescues. HEA.Sex scenes were tepid. Recomended as filler reading material.

Ehh this was just okay. The beginning was pretty good but the end was really fast and seemed rushed.
