This is second in the series and IMO this one read better and quicker than the first. He makes pass after pass, but enjoys the chase all the same.When a fundraiser takes place to save the botanical gardens, Pierce decides to use his position as the Headliner to ask Lace out one final time. To save her gardens she has no choice but to accept but can she keep her heart safe and not fall in love all over again and can Pierce finally see what he did not see before.....
