4.5 starsThis was a very emotional read for me. There is romance, and there is terror as a young woman is on the run from her abusive ex-husband, an LAPD Detective. She's in Twilight, TX, and meets a Twilight native son, a Delta Forces officer who is the sole survivor of his Unit. He has had shrapnel to his throat and is trying to learn to speak again. If a reader is a fan of Jessica Scott's Coming Home series, then I think this would be a read that person would also enjoy.Ms Wilde is a gifted writer who pulls the reader into her characters and her plot. Fell in love with Hutch. He is a wounded soldier and a hero. He comes home to find that his crazy sister has moved another woman into the house (a renter). His sister has taken off and left his niece in the care of this woman. The woman (Jane aka Meredith) is on the run from a dangerous ex-husband. I got a little impatient with Meredith at times but then I have not had to deal with a dangerous ex. Over all the plot was great and so were the characters. A great read.
What do You think about Christmas At Twilight (2014)?
It was a good book about 80% of the way through. The ending felt rushed and completely unrealistic.

Too many dysfunctional characters with too dramatic of an ending for my taste.
