She peeked at him still resting on the sofa and saw he was holding a throw pillow in one arm and had pulled a chenille blanket over himself. How sweet, she thought. She found the clothes which had brought for her earlier and slipped them on. She padded to the kitchen and quietly opened the fridge to see if he had done any grocery shopping. She had expected it to be sparse and empty as a bachelor’s refrigerator usually is with only some random condiments and beer, but she was surprised to see that he seemed to be an efficient shopper and had bought enough for several meals. She hummed quietly as she sorted through the fridge to see what was there. She pulled out some fresh fruit that she thought she would cut up for a snack when he woke. She had her hands full with a few things when she heard his voice behind her. “Making yourself at home, I see,” he said. “I…I just thought you might be hungry,” she said apologetically without turning around. She suddenly felt guilty for helping herself to his shower and digging through his fridge and felt like she had invaded his privacy.
