Since I started with the Callahan brothers I had fallen in love with them and after the ending in Mark's book I just had to read about John. I was thrilled that he was featured in this book, but I was unsatisfied when it came to the answers about what had happened when he "died". No, I wasn't satisfied at all. I have also read A Callahan Carol and let me tell you this, I am still missing an epilogue about the reunion. I am almost angry about it because I need one. I miss one so much and I so want Nic there when they reunite, helping Gabe through with it. That would certainly make me a happy woman as I for now am not. But, I did like the book. I missed more of the heart wrenching stuff. I didn't cry. I wanted to, but I didn't. But all in all it was a nice story about the lost Callahan and his way back to life. This was the first book I have read by this author but it will not be the last. It is the first in her Eternity Springs series and I truly enjoyed it. This is a heart wrenching story of second chances at love that will make you laugh and cry. Nic is caring and understanding; Gabe is self loathing and full of guilt. They met, sparks fly and their journey begins. This is a very well written story with realistic characters that face challenges as they work to rebuild Eternity Springs. I will definitely be reading more of this series by Emily March.
Te book wasn't bad, but there was too much side information , which annoyed me quite a bit.
