What do You think about Anna Vestida De Sangre (2012)?
"Anna Dressed in Blood" is the first book in a duology that had me reduced to a jumpy, nail-biting and lip-chewing mess by the time I was only halfway through the book. Can you care for a creepy serial killer? Apparently, the answer is, yes. Cas has been a ghost hunter for many years. It runs in the family and to say he's quite good at what he does would be an understatement. The peaceful ghosts he doesn't touch, but the violent ones he sends to wherever they go after they die...again. Until Cas meets Anna, that is. Somehow things seem different with this particular ghost...In the beginning I was waiting for the pace of the story to pick up, but as it progressed I got more and more invested in the plotline and the characters and couldn't put the book out of my hands. I really enjoyed the general direction the book was going - even though I am not too happy with the way it ended, but hey, there's a second book waiting to be picked up - and liked most of the characters, especially Anna. Since there's some graphic violence in this book I recommend it to teenagers aged 14 and up. So if you enjoy a good paranormal read with a little bit of romance sprinkled on top, this is the book for you.

The author used the first person present tense which made the flow of the book choppy and juvenile sounding. I get what she was trying to do but it wasn't working and at that point in writing she should've rewritten it in a different tense. (Shocking I know) but it was obviously not flowin'. And another thing, f-bombs. This ginga doesn't like f-bombs. A little damn, hell, bitch, and shit never hurt anyone but I hate the f-bomb. Since I'm into audiobook listening I literally hear the word rather than read it. And on the note of audiobook listening, I hated the reader. Hated him. But whatever. Moving on.
