Anti-Prom, The (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

The book is quick paced and the alternating povs make it sharp , lifelike and witty. It truly is a great piece of litriture. At the start i struggled to get into it however after reading about 15 pages. I was laughing and hooked. The charecters were all very diffrent;the charecter meg had the biggest impact on me. She was introjused slowly and i found her level_ headed and intriging. It is the sort of book i would advise a friend , familly member or school child -like myself - to read. The sort of book you can read without thinking about much, not confusing. The end was wonderful and everything was tied up with no loose ends- i do hate it when a load of questions are left unawnsered. Hope this inspirses you to give this book a try much love , Ella red Hgfhhh The anti-prom was a weird, yet an amazing book. Its about three girls who show up at prom but did not know they will end up talking to each other. Bliss is a popular girly girl and preppy. Jolene is the baddest girl in high school. Meg is the nerdy girl. These three girls end up being friends all in one night. Bliss caught her best friend making out with her boyfriend in the back of the limo, so she went to Jolene to help her get revenge to Kaitlin (her best friend). They ended up talking to Meg because she was their driver. Bliss tries to hide what she's doing because if she's seen with Jolene or Meg, her whole rep could be ruined and people would start asking a lot of questions. The three girls go to Kaitlin's house to look for her dairy, so they can spill all her secrets. They end up finding out that wasn't the first time Kaitlin's hooked up with Cameron (Bliss's boyfriend), and that she's cheated on her boyfriend. They drive to the college dorms where Kaitlin's boyfriend lives to tell him she's cheating on him but without letting him know who they are. After they do Bliss a favor, they have to go help Jolene with a favor. Jolene wants to break in her dad's office for an painting that means a lot to her, but her dad doesn't want anything to do with her. After that, they have to do Meg a favor and all she wants is to be with a guy named Tristan, whose never talked to her even though they have a class together. Bliss gives Meg an make over then they go to a party where Tristan and all their friends are. At the party, all three girls end up realizing everything. They all end up happy in the end even though it wasn't the "perfect prom". One reason I like this book is because the three girls help each other out even though they're different from each other. Second reason I gave this book a four star is because they end up happy and together, that's what really matters to me. I could play a movie in my head while I read this.
