I really like Will and Taylor together, although sometimes I want to smack them! It amazes me how their brain to mouth filters can be so off! I like the direction this book has taken their relationship but I must admit I think Will needs to tell Taylor about that kiss he's hares with his ex (even if it was goodbye). My only complaint would be that it was too short - it was just getting to the next phase in their relationship and then bam! Over! 3.5 Huge Josh fan and this one was ok. I wish I didn't wait so long b/w the 1st book and now to read Old Poison. I sort of forgot details in Book 1 as well as forgetting the characters. (It's either waiting too long or senility :P)So b/c of that fact, I didn't feel 100% connected to Will and Taylor. They were written very well had some good chemistry but for me they were missing a layer, which may have been something from the 1st book that I just don't remember. The mystery was pretty good and I appreciated that is moved along at a good pace. Spoilerish comment: Will annoyed me a bit with his internal dialogue regarding Bradley. Made me think perhaps Taylor is too good for him. But I'm a traditionalist when it comes to love.
The story was kind of flat; it didn't read with the same excitement usually found in Lanyon's books.

I love Taylor and Will. I wish the books were longer. That's why 4 instead of 5 stars.
