I always enjoy Josh Lanyon's work and this story was no exception. Full of action, it follows Taylor and Will on yet another adventure trying to reclaim a missing woman framed for a murder. Lots of action: break ins, car chases, shoot outs, and a woman in labor! In the background, Taylor and Will are struggling with Will's offer of an assignment that will take him to Paris, leaving Taylor behind. Can their relationship survive a two year separation? I guess I'll be reading the next book on the series to find out! I just keep rating the books in this series with 5 stars..)) Of course, I've read better - but I have different standards for novellas.. And for novellas - these books really deserve 5 stars. Action, story, romance, angst - all packed in a delicious way)) I just love Josh Lanyon - it's not easy to write a really good novella, where not a scene is a waste, nothing is dragging or developing too fast. And in the end, I don't wish the books were longer - because they are perfect just the way they are.
What do You think about Calore Umano (2000)?
Wow, that was over quicker than I wanted. But I enjoyed!!
