In real life we deal, not with Gods, but with ordinary humans like ourselves; men and women who are full of contradictions, who are stable and fickle, strong and weak, famous and infamous." NELSON MANDELA. In this book Nelson Mandela lets us see his private life, tells us his story. This book is about a very powerful and inpring man and leader called Nelson Mandela. Helets us read through his private life, from finish to end. Even though he had someups and downs, he never gave up because Nelson Mandela is a man who knows what he wants and fights for it until he gets it. Nelson Mandela wrote a lot. Even through his pain in Jail. He lets us, the readers read these personal letters that he wrote in his twenty-seven years in jail. He had sufferd enough in jail just because he faught for equalities between coloured people and white people. He was the first coloured leader in South Africa, and he is the one whomade this big change. In this book it also has recorded conversations that Nelson had.I would recommend this book to everyone because, i think that it is for everyone and it will inspire you. Nelson Mandela is one of the mos inspiring, and powerful leader. This book might help you realize some things or let you leave thinking of something or asking yourself a question. In this book he really tries to make us understand freedom. In this book it is like you are talking to him in direct. One of the most important problems in the past century was racism. South Africa and USA were the most touched. Martin Luther King and MalcolmX were killed in the USA. That made the major difference, Nelson Mandela fought for more more than 40 years (27 in prison) to become the first elected president of South Africa and he continued his path. Today (18/08/2013) he is sick, I wish him a good recover. He was one of the faces that marked the 20th century and a sample to follow. This book is a must to read for anybody who wants to study the 20th century, or just wants to read about great men.
What do You think about Arquivo Íntimo (2010)?
So inspiring. This is a MUST read for anyone who believes in working towards bettering our world.

The editors used Mandela's fame to create this hodgepodge of a book. It's largely unreadable.
