The action scenes were riveting, but the dialogue was really unpolished and trite, totally cliche teen behavior and histrionics. Not something I expected to encounter in characters with the world setting such as ARV-3's. I would have expected characters to be more pragmatic, less drama-centric. the first star is because i have to rate it with something. the next two stars are for the kickass action. Really interesting premise and beginning, but when the author is using words like "freaking" and "sucks" as adjectives in the writing, you know it's a pretty juvenile book. The story translated into something more simple and predictable, and just needed betting writing and development to really be good. It wasn't a bad read, but it was cheesy and definitely for young teenage girls who will adore it. It ends wide open for another book and I'm not interested in pursuing this series. Had a little language.
What do You think about ARV-3 (2013)?
A really awesome and thrilling (but also very sweet at times) apocalyptic story!

Pretty good YA apocalyptic novel. Enjoyed the different take on zombies.
