Babymouse is caught in a pickle when he accidentally turned on the sprinklers in the library and destroys all the books. In order to pay for the new books, he holds a cupcake sale to pay for it, but it isn't that easy. His archenemy Felicia is also selling cupcakes, but with ads and a catchy slogan, Babymouse seems like no match. He goes outside to set up shop, hoping to find more luck, but instead mother nature decides to visit him. Drenched in rain, he stood firm, and when a passing news van drove by to see that he was still trying to sell cupcakes in the rain, they ran a story that made him really popular! He sold the most cupcakes, winning the GRAND PRIZE at the library as well as having the money for the new books. And what is the GRAND PRIZE you may ask, well it was a plaque with his name scribbled on it. I feel the Babymouse series is a great, fun, and different way to get young readers into well, reading. A very comic style oriented illustration, Babymouse goes through a variety of adventures that young up and coming readers and teachers alike would love. I personally loved this book, Babymouse tried to get a book from the library that was very high, so she got up there and got the book, but almost fell and was saved by a pipe hanging up there, However she made the pipe break and caused a huge flood, Making a fundraiser to remake the new books, Although her selling skills werent too good, They were doing one on her favorite food, Cupcakes!I seriousy LOVED the part when pikachu was on there, Pokemon stands out as my favorite franchise, and I loved seeing pikachu :3!
What do You think about Babymouse #13: Cupcake Tycoon (2012)?
I like it because it has a lot of funniness and a lot of adventure.
