This book was hysterical... then again, I'm a city girl. I think, however, I might be a tad offended at some of the remarks about ranching and rodeos if I were a country girl and into that sort of thing. My summary: Smartass City Girl moves to Texas and experiences culture shock. The first cover (still shown with the listing on Goodreads) was really tacky. The newest cover is WOW, but also may lead the reader to wrongly assume that there might be some hot sex described herein, much like an erotic romance. Let's be clear: there's nothing erotic in this book. Sexy situations, yes. Descriptions of hot sex, no. I'm also not convinced that the Title of this book was really relevant. This is also book one of three... so while not exactly a cliffhanger, there isn't exactly a tidy HEA so readers may be a bit disappointed if just sticking to the first book. There are typos and grammar errors, therefore I had to drop a star. This is really different from the Lost and Found series which I've yet to review, but found to be much more tedious to read. It wasnt awful but it draggggggg... It didn't get interesting until the end. I guess I wanted it to get to the point. I didn't see the point of her getting drunk all the time. It's a small town that's a quick way to invite trouble. I understand that she's fresh from college but she now has a career which you don't find out until almost the end what the job actually is.. All it talked about was drinking and pining after unattainable men.
What do You think about Back In The Saddle (2013)?
This was a fun book. Had me laughing quite a little bit with the crazygirl antics.
