Or was it five? I pushed up on my elbows. “Really? Where?” “There’s a private facility that I’d been trying to get her in for over a year. I finally greased enough palms to get her in. It’s small, only about fifteen patients, and has a large staff, so we won’t have to worry about no one keeping a close eye on her. They cater exclusively to dementia and Alzheimer’s patients, and everyone on the staff, are all highly trained in those areas. She’ll have her own room and bathroom, and it’s only about a forty minute drive, so I can visit as much as I want. She starts tomorrow.”
