I fell in love with the characters from the first few chapters. The book has some very steamy sexy situations that are so hot and endearing fro the reader to enjoy. It is well written and development of the characters and story is so heartwarming a and developed to the fullest. This is book 2 but can be read alone with only a few details that may not be explain in whole. That just means to get the first one if want introduction to the character explain in more detailed. If you like paranormal comedies this is the book for you. I laughed a lot throughout this book and heart racing action all in one book. Character is a down to earth and take charge independent woman who has to deal with the supernatural world as a pastry chef/witch. This I received as a free book from the author who had sighed the book. I will cherish this book for a long time. I like to thank you the author for sharing your book with me and giving me a smile on my face. Every other review seems to rehash what the story is, I'll opt not to. If you like the Sookie Stackhouse book series, you'll probably dig Tammy Trask. Enough similarities between Sookie and Tammy exist to get your interest, with enough differences to keep you interested. This series relies more on snark and sarcasm, rather than sexuality to keep it afloat. And it works well. The author also does a good job with making each book in the series readable as a stand alone book, as well as a series that flows well. She fills in enough information to keep the story making sense, but still leaves you wanting to read the other books in the series.
