Absolutely gorgeous artwork, gets a star added for that alone.Problem is the story. There's two Supermans, and okay we can tell them apart because one wears jeans. And two batmans... but... I could not tell them apart. which caused endless confusion when they were all talking to each other and I didn't know which was which and who was from which world and, urgh.Fabulous artwork though. DC is really embracing the concept of the multiverse in the New 52. In Batman/Superman, Vol. 1: Cross World the Batman and Superman of Prime Earth are transported to Earth 2 and meet their older counterparts. This story takes place before before Darkseid invaded either Earth and explains exactly who the New God had been searching for (it also includes a Darkseid origin story). The interactions between the Batman and Superman of Prime Earth and each with their Earth 2 counterparts are fantastic and take you into the head of each (something that has been needed since the launch of the New 52, especially with Superman).
Average. I got lost in the story line a few times. I was expecting more. Artwork is awesome though.
