1)I loved the action scenes in this book. 2)Jackson totally redeemed himself. It took Sylvester lecturing him to give him the business but w/e 3)I KNEW Tom was going to die (he was being a jerk anyway)4)Did NOT like Mark dying that was messed up5)Who else was shocked that Michael was in cahoots with the demons?6)what ruined the book for me was the ending. Like WTF JACKS Y THE HELL AFTER ALL THE CRAP THAT U WENT THROUGH WITH MADDY WOULD YOU LEAVE HER? (Including taking her virginity in that romantic scene)7)It didn't make any sense to me y couldn't Sylvester lead the angels home or y wasn't Maddie forced back to the angel realm as quoted by Susan "ALL THE ANGELS WILL BE FORCED HOME".8) Y would u have only Jacks spirit shown at the end and not his "mortal form".There was a lot of problems with the political logic of this series (especially in the second book) but the logic just wasn't consistent in this book. My first review so bear with me. I love Scott Speer immortal city series but this last book was really great but I can't feel like there should have been more of an ending or something that could keep them together after everything because Jackson should've stayed with her or something more. I guess I understand why he left but still he and the others should've stayed. Overall I give this a 3.5 stars and in my opinion that's sort of a low score especially considering the first 2 books were amazing
Nooo! Tom Dies! Very sad ending, with only a shred of hope in the end...
