Honestly the first one was way better, I can't help but be slightly disappointed, Jacks and Maddie where totally two different people compared to the first book, and I do like Tom, but she gave up on Jacks way to fast, she acted as if she didn't care throughout the entire book, and omg the ending was really good, the plot twist and the cliff hanger curled my toes, I can't wait to read the third one and I do hope she figures things out with jacks, if it isn't to late. Again I'm blown away by this amazing story! The plot was electric and held a high state of tension throughout the book. I loved Maddie's character progression and felt that her actions were justified and completely "human". I really liked the introduction of Tom, and with Jacks's emotional and physical pain playing a major part in the story, it melded together to create electrifying tension between the two.
