Never in my life (and I say this with the utmost caution) have I read a more mind boggling, terrifying book. The journey to the ending of the Asylum trilogy found me screaming profanities at the ambivalent obscurity of this book - there were moments when I thought things were finally making sense, yet then a cackle of dread left hanging over the dark precipice of ignorance. Finally, at the very end, I found Clarity. She was a wondrous wyvern whose claws pulled me into her enshrouding mist of a body and there, in the deepest of abysses, I was hit in the head with a hammer that got me to see the gist of that crazy plot. However, I still feel like I need a therapist to pick up the shattered pieces of my mind before I can truly digest this book with any sense of reason. Lauren Hammond, I wish to offer you my highest commendations for fucking my mind so thoroughly. It was a psychopathic first for me. No es el final que esperaba, pero aun así debo decir que rompió mi corazón.Mis teorías se basaban en dos hechos: SPOILER 1.- Nada de lo que leí en los dos libros anteriores fue real, si no producto de la imaginación estropeada de Adelaine.2.- Adelaine esta muerta.Para bien o para mal, una de mis teoría estuvo acertada - en un 50% al menos- , mas sin embargo, Lauren le dio un giro diferente a la historia. Lamento que haya matado a mi personaje favorito, eso dolió mucho. Pero también creó que lo hizo parecer débil.y no lo es.Una buena historia, le doy cuatro porque se que pudo recuperar sus recuerdos.
