A girl named Brooke has a crush on a boy named Scott. He moved from their suburban town to New York City,and she decides to follow him there. Its her last time to prove to Scott that they belong together even though he has no idea. Brooke lives with her dad due to a painful family trauma. She is trying to adapt to a new school which is challenging,and things go from bad to worse when Brooke learns that Scott already has a girlfriend. But as she builds her new life Brooke begins to discover a side of herself she never knew existed which was by living in the city that never sleeps. Brooke realizes that love can appear around any corner. I really like this book because Brooke is just a girl going after a boy who doesn't even know her. This is a story about a girl named brooke who has a crush on a guy named Scott. Once Brooke finally gets the chance to talk to Scott she finds out that he's moving very soon to New York. Brooke is heart broken but she remembers her dad lives in New York. Brooke and her dad aren't very connected they haven't talked in awhile but she ends up moving to New York to be with Scott. She meets new people and gets the chance to actually get to know Scott more.
The cover art is gorgeous, the plot is intriguing, but I couldn't get into the writing style.
