This has got to be the most boring start to romance I have ever read. The Prologue made for an interesting tale. But the author gives way too much back story information to stop me from skimming. I hate skimming, but I was pulling my hair out reading the absolutely boring details. This whole book could of been summed up into a few chapters and then get to the good stuff. I'm about to start the second book and hopefully I can enjoy what happens next. I should of just read the prologue then skipped on to book 2. So I did absolutely love this book however I think the prologue leaves you to believe this book with be a second chance romance when it is not. It is only giving you the back story for book 2. I loved the history and I did just love this book but the whole time I was waiting for the ever after... I'm not mad about it because I do have book 2 and plan on starting it NOW.. I'm sure once I get into book 2 I will feel more complete...
