The main idea of this book is a boy named Josh loves baseball and plays in a league. He wants to be in the MLB one day. The problem is that Josh thinks his mom and dad are getting a divorce. His dad hangs out with a girl named Diane who Josh thinks is his girlfriend and Josh hates her. Will his parents divorce and will Josh's dream come true? In my opinion this is a very good book. My favorite part was when Josh got a home run in the first game and won it for his team. My least favorite part was when Josh found out his parents were going to divorce. This is a sad part because Josh loves his parents and doesn't want them to divorce. overall, this book was a great book and I will definitely read another one by this author. I recommend this book to anyone who likes sports or baseball. Me and my brother both like sports so he would probably like this book too. I liked this book and will read a book about sports again. Any one who likes sports would definitely like this book and would want to read another book by this author. Best of the Best is about a boy named Josh and is a star baseball player. His parents get divorced and his dad starts dating someone named Dianne. Josh's dad encourages Josh to play baseball for the little team to go the Little League World Series. Josh and his best friend Benji make the team by having played half of the games even though Benji missed more than half. Dianne changed the scorebook showing that Benji played so Josh would play and meet Zamboni. Josh has to room with Zamboni (Marcus) who is Dianne's son and he hates him right away. Over time the two develop to become friends just to get Dianne and Josh's dad to break up. Josh and one of his best friends Jaden catch Dianne kissing her ex-husband. When Josh's team finally makes it to the Little League World Series and Josh and Jaden go and try to get the nike contract his dad signed back from Dianne's ex-husband. In the end Josh's dad and Dianne don't break up and Josh and Zamboni end up being friends. Josh's team ended up going 0-4 in the tournament.
This was a really good book. Every chapter left you wanting to read the next chapter.
